MAREKBROILER virus vaccine against Marek’s disease
Description
The vaccine is a dry homogenous finely porous mass of yellowish pink colour. It is well resuspended in water without flake and sediment formation.
Indications
The vaccine is indicated for the prevention of Marek’s disease in broilers. Clinically healthy dayold chicks (during their first hours of life) at hatcheries
are subject to vaccination.
Route of administration
Dilute the vaccine using the diluent according to MAREKBROILER virus vaccine package leaflet and inject intramuscularly into the upper third of the inner thigh or subcutaneously into the neck in the amount of 0.2 ml of each chick. The vaccine should be diluted with distilled water.
Immunity
The vaccine induces lifelong immunity in chicks on 21–28 day post vaccination.
Storage conditions
The shelf life of the vaccine is 24 months provided it is stored and transported at 4–8°C.
