With reference to Order No. R-154 of September 21, 2015, of the RF Ministry of Education and Science academic journal Veterinary Science Today (Veterinariâ segodnâ) was entered in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications that should include basic results of Candidate theses and Doctoral dissertations for the following disciplines: 06.02.00 – Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics; 03.02.00 - General biology.

Veterinary Science Today (Veterinariâ segodnâ) journal has been published since 2012. The journal was founded by the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health”.

The journal’s mission is to introduce basic trends of Veterinary Science Today (Veterinariâ segodnâ) development and to attract attention of the research community to burning issues and innovations in veterinary field. The journal focuses on the results of analytical and experimental veterinary research, trends of Veterinary Science, discussion of topical issues of animal disease monitoring and epidemiology. The subject scope of the journal varies with current scientific and practical objectives. In order to share experience and enter scientific discussions both outstanding men of science and young scientists, practitioners and veterinary officials are invited for publication in Veterinary Science Today (Veterinariâ segodnâ) Journal. Veterinary Science Today (Veterinariâ segodnâ) is distributed in Russia and in specialized research centres of other countries. The papers are published in Russian and in English.
